The conversation takes a few musical turns, exploring Chassidish classics, spontaneous musical creations, and how he went from being a fan to finding himself Backstage with Benny! ______________________________ ▶ This episode is brought to you by United Refuah Healthshare It's Time to Prioritize YOUR Health and Savings | apply at https://unitedrefuah.org and use promo code BACKSTAGE26 for a $100 gift card! ______________________________ Produced by Tzvi Fishoff Filmed and Edited by Lenz Solution Studios Band: Gershon Freishtat (Leader), Ido Shushan, Sruli Friedman, Danny Flam Audio Production: Chesky Levi and Reuven Brecher ______________________________ Connect with Benny: Socials, Concerts, Merch: https://linktr.ee/bennysmusic For bookings and inquiries: info@bennysmusic.com | WhatsApp: (646) 598-4140 להזמנות אירועים בארץ ישראל: יונתן יחיאל - 0525000210 | yonatan@bennysmusic.com ______________________________ 0:00 - Intro & Welcome 1:12 - Davenen 3:16 - Camp Songs 4:58 - Naftali Schnitzler 6:42 - How It All Began 8:16 - Benny’s Influence 9:30 - Yesh Tikvah 11:05 - Mach a Bracha 12:48 - Taamu 15:43 - Benny’s First Album 17:18 - Kad Yasvun 20:08 - The First Time We Met 20:54 - Ah Tova Far Ah Yid 23:09 - Bobover Niggunim 27:21 - Songs My Father Taught Me 28:21 - The Meaning of Gedenkt’zhe 31:52 - Oyfn Pripetchik 2.0 36:35 - Dvar Torah 38:00 - A Song for a Song 40:43 - Backstage Jingle!

A couple of years ago a group of us from Anshei Lubavitch traveled first what would be the first of many trips to visit the resting place of the Rebbe’s father, Harav Reb Levi Yitzchak Schneerson. We learned more about his life, his story, and his otherworldly self-sacrifice. And of course, we studied from his Torah writings. Today, on the 82nd Yahrtzeit anniversary of this great and holy man, it’s a perfect time to refresh our knowledge about all of this, and recommit ourselves to live our lives with this level of commitment, without compromise, and without fear or doubt. L’chaim, may we merit to witness even today the fulfillment of the promise,והקיצו ורננו שוכני עפר, and a world filled with only revealed goodness and G-dliness! Amen! Special thanks to @JewishMedia
