‘Guf Uneshama’ Now available on all platforms - https://fanlink.tv/Guf1-4 The Single, 'Guf Venshama’ is the theme song from the first EP album that will be released in a few weeks. The song 'Guf Venshama’ deals with the spiritual connection and the common denominator of every Jew, the recitation of "Shema Yisrael". The song was written and composed by Avi Ohayon, arranged by Matan Dror, and accompanied by a sensitive and moving music video produced by 'OlamMedia'. David Fadida oversees managing the production. Ever since Simchat Torah, a profound sense of upheaval has gripped millions of Jews globally, leaving them with a feeling of groundlessness. In the footage, the boundless anguish in their eyes is evident, yet amidst it all, one constant remains—the anchoring island of sanity for every Jew in any circumstance, at all times, and particularly in recent months. It is the act of covering their eyes and uttering the words of Shema Yisrael, akin to saying, "Like a lost child, I came back to You." The album 'Guf Venshama’ marks the initiation of an expansive project comprising a series of EP albums scheduled for release in the coming months. Within each album, Shwekey will showcase an array of musical styles, spanning Hassidic, Israeli, and English genres, featuring captivating duets with various singers. The underlying theme of the project is the promotion of unity across all segments of the Jewish people, a sentiment artistically echoed in the music. Each album will boast its unique artistic direction, contributing collectively to form a comprehensive and harmonious musical mosaic. "The goal of 'Guf Venshama’ is to make sure that there is no Jewish child anywhere in the world who does not know how to say 'Shema Yisrael'," says Yaakov Shwekey. We performed at bases, weddings and hospitals, and more than empowering others, we were empowered ourselves by the immense powers of these heroes. In one of the cases, we participated in a Hafrashat Challah event together with the families of the abductees, including the parents of the boy Uri Danino who was abducted in Gaza. Boruch Hashem we formed a special and deep connection with Einav Efrat, Uri's mother, and we also invited her to us in the US to try and help in any way possible. It is impossible to describe the strength and faith of this dear woman, who despite the enormous difficulty when her son is held captive by human animals, she still spreads confidence and faith in God and influences all of us. She goes around the schools here in the USA and strengthens thousands of children with her full faith in Hashem. One day when we were sitting at home, I played her a song that Shlomi Azriel had sent me titles ‘Give me strength'. The song talks about exactly these matters. The song moved her to tears and she explained to me that the song describes exactly her feelings during these difficult days. I told her right away that I would record the song and release it so that everyone could join in the prayers and the great hope. Today we reflect on the defiance Bubby wore as armor, her tiny frame that housed an incredibly courageous, big heart. Today, as one of her 26 grandchildren on her 26th yahrzeit, Today on יום השואה, I remember that after the war, Bubby was told childbirth would require a miracle. She raised 3 daughters. I remember that she saved souls inside the camps by hiding food at the risk of her life. She walked a death march six times. Six times she escaped to live on and build her dynasty. I remember that she was precise in her actions and would be pleased that Her Creator chose this particular day to bring her home. But today I must also ask you, my sweet Bubby, to bring the כח of your שמע to join ours here for your beloved daughter, רחל בת אסתר אלטא We need a complete refuah for my mother. We need the power of your complete courage and faith. As the world lights a collective flame in its promise to remember, We take my Bubby’s lead and defy the doubters. Deny the haters. And the idea had been germinating ever since. Yaakov saw the mural on the wall of Rabbi Meir Yaakov Zlotowitz zt”l, the legendary founder of ArtScroll/Mesorah Publications, along with a beautiful tribute penned by his partner, Rabbi Nosson Scherman, depicting the world-changing impact that this one man had on the world. Yaakov wanted to express those very sentiments through song, paying homage to Rav Meir Yaakov ben Rav Aharon zt”l, who lit up the world with his vision and dedication to spreading Torah to the four corners of the globe. It was thus that this song, Veha’er Eineinu, was born. The result is a stunning production that movingly portrays the story of a child who questions his own ability to make a difference, but goes on to become the greatest Torah disseminator of his time, forever changing the Jewish landscape.
